Lesson (pdf).

Your homework for tonight is:
  1. Review for the final.

Recommendation: At a minimum, spend 45 minutes on Saturday and 45 minutes on Sunday reviewing. If you need to, spend more time.

Then spend 10 minutes on Monday morning before the final (either at home or after you get to school if you get here early) looking over the review packets. This is not a time to "cram", just a time to remind yourself of the types of problems you're going to see and how to approach them. It will help make you more relaxed once you start the final.

Remember: You can start at 7:15 if you want. Bring pencils, erasers and calculators. If you want, bring a note card, graph paper, ruler and extra paper.

  2. Don't forget the review for the final videos.

  3. Read through the Algebra 1 Second Semester Final Exam Topics.

Distance and Midpoint Formula Assessment Key (pdf).

Lesson (pdf).

Your homework for tonight is:
  1. Check the portal for the results of your assessment and make a plan for retake (if necessary), including making an appointment online. You have to score at least a 4.5 out of 5 to be considered proficient. If you score less than a 4.5, then you'll need to come in and re-assess. (If you score a 4.5, you can also choose to come in and re-assess to try to get the 5 - I highly encourage that, but don't require it). If you score below a 3.5, then it will show in the grade book as "missing" (which counts like a 0) until you come in and re-assess at least one time. (It's really important to master these skills as we go along, which is why I put it as missing to make sure you come in and re-assess).

  2. Finish the First Semester Review Worksheet we worked on in class.

  3. Don't forget the review for the final videos I posted last week.

  4. Read through the Algebra 1 Second Semester Final Exam Topics before Monday.
